This printed circuit board component and the resulting power supply are intended for experienced persons. The completed unit and associated components produce potentially dangerous voltages.

• PCB is intended to work with HP-23, A, B, C, and PS-23 Heathkit power supplies
• Upgraded voltage and current rating of HV and B+ diodes
• Upgraded capacitor voltage and capacitance ratings
• All resistors metal oxide rated at 5 watts
• Option: HV fuse and fuse holder in the HV output
• Option: Switch for Hi or Lo B+ voltage (can also be set by jumper)
• Option: To use variable bias voltage used in the earlier HP-23
• Expected to have better cooling of resistors because of vertical mounting  
• All diodes, capacitors, and resistors are now mounted on the AWA PCB
• Estimated cost when using high-end, new parts is $50-$60 from a major distributor (not including the price of the bare PCB).  Lower cost parts can be found by the budget-minded builder.
