In the following policy statement, "AWA", "we" or "our" refer to The Antique Wireless Association. Privacy Statement This statement discloses the privacy practices for www.antiquewireless.org and the AWA. We have designed the AWA website so that no personal identifying information is displayed online or is accessible to the general public. We take your (and our!) privacy seriously. Log Files The AWA maintains log files of the traffic that visits its website. Each connection of a computer to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers that serve as that computer's "Internet Protocol" or IP address. When your browser requests a page from our website, our Web servers automatically recognize your domain name and IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. These log files are used to manage and gather website statistics on traffic loads and for cross-browser compatibility to maintain maximum visitor usage. Information collected includes domain names, IP addresses, browser types, date and time of day pages are visited. No email addresses can be captured or gathered by our log files. Our server also does not set or collect or examine cookies. Surveys Periodically, we may conduct surveys of our membership or visitors to our website. The data thus obtained and compiled are used strictly for the stated purpose of the survey and are not made public unless the stated purpose or intent of the survey is to compile public statistics of general interest to AWA membership or website visitors. Participation in any AWA survey is voluntary. Links The AWA website contains links to other web sites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are 'clicking' to another web site not under our control. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites, as their privacy policies may differ from ours. Sharing of Information We do not sell, rent, or share any visitor information that we collect on our site. It is strictly controlled for internal AWA use only. Our Rights The Antique Wireless Association reserves the right to change this Privacy and Security Policy at any time.
