A Day at the AWA Museum Annex - Ham station W2ICE |
Bob Corbin, N2RSM, listens to the Noon net at the Annex Ham station, W2ICE. To those sharp eyed Hams, yes, we have and use Kenwoods, too. |
The AWA museum is pleased to sponsor on-the-air operating events for Amateurs. This large 1936 AM transmitter, currently on 75 meters, is operated with club calls W2AN or W2ICE and was built by National Radio Company engineer James Millen and ARRL Executive Ross Hull. The Collins transmitters are on 75 and 20 SSB. |
