Donate to AWA Today

Think of your life without telegraph, telephone, radio, television, cell phones or wireless text messaging.  Our lives would not be the same.  You can support Antique Wireless Association’s vision to preserve and share the history of each of those technologies through your donation today.
The Antique Wireless Association receives no government or other agency funds and relies entirely on support from people like you.  Contributions to the AWA are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.  The Antique Wireless Association, is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization (EIN 16-1501004) and chartered in the State of New York.

   

AWA projects, programs, and initiatives for include:

+  Expansion of the Antique Wireless Museum
      *  An addition on the east side of the Museum to house an operational Ham Shack and Registrar’s                   operation – Summer 2019
                o   Operational stations from each significant era
                o   James Millen station will be return to operational status
                o   DX stations for use by radio amateurs and local radio clubs
     * More interactive displays for kids of all ages
       *  New Telephone display
​
+  Expansion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) classes for youth based on the rich history of the technologies preserved and shared at AWA. 
      *  ​Repeat and expand on the successful Radio Fab Lab classes

+ Ongoing support of the AWA members and the Antique Wireless Museum world-class collection, research library, and publications including the AWA Journal, AWA Review and Museum Sparks
